The average person in North America is responsible for up to 20 tonnes of CO2 produced annually, not including special purpose travel such as air flights, cruises, or other recreational activities. You can help offset your carbon emissions by helping to support one of the carbon neutralizing projects that Rockcliffe invests in as part of our commitment to a greener planet.
VCO TRAVELLER
Price: $20.00 USD
Voluntary Carbon Offset – An individual Offset of one (1) tonne of Carbon emissions is equivalent to:
- • a one-way trip from New York to Los Angeles
- • 102 gallons of gasoline,
- • 974 lb of coal burned, or
- • 2.1 barrels of oil consumed.
It is the amount of carbon saved with every 24 new trees planted or 310 square feet of forest saved from deforestation.
VCO COMMUTER
PRICE: $100.00 USD
Voluntary Carbon Offset – Individual Commuter Offset of five (5) tonnes of Carbon emissions is the equivalent to:
- • 11,300 miles driven by an average passenger vehicle,
- • 2 1/2 trips from New York to Los Angeles,
- • 535 gallons of gasoline consumed, or
- • 1.7 tons of waste sent to the landfill.
It is the amount of carbon saved with every 125 new trees planted or 1611 sq ft of forest saved from deforestation (roughly the footprint of an average bungalow suburban home).
VCO Homeowner
PRICE: $220.00 USD
Voluntary Carbon Offset – Individual Offset of eleven (11) tonnes of Carbon emissions is the equivalent to:
- • Average home energy use for one (1) year,
- • 2.3 passenger vehicles,
- • 26,000 miles driven, or
- • 4 tonnes of waste sent to the landfill.
It is the amount of carbon saved with every 285 new trees planted or 3700 sq ft of forest saved from deforestation (roughly the footprint of an average lot size for a suburban home).

Voluntary Carbon Offset – Individual Offset of twenty (20) tonnes of Carbon emissions.
It is estimated that in the United States alone, accounting for all sources of emissions both commercial and residential the impact of industrialization is roughly 20 tonnes of carbon per person. That is over 600 million tonnes of carbon and other greenhouse gasses poisoning our land, water, and air every single year.
20 tonnes of carbon is the amount saved with every 470 new trees planted or 6100 sq ft (0.14 acres) of forest saved from deforestation.
